Caramelized Pears Recipe

Ingredients:

2 to 3 Bartlett pears

1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

¼ cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:

Half the pears and remove the cores.

In a skillet, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat. Sprinkle in ground cinnamon and cook until sugar is melted.

Add halved pears and cook for about 2 minutes. Increase the heat to medium-high and continue to cook, stirring frequently, for about 8 minutes.

Stir in vanilla extract and cook for about 1 more minute then remove from heat and let cool. Serve with vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
