Green Pasta Sauce

One-Pot Meal For One

  • ½ cup vegetable broth

  • 1 cup frozen peas

  • 1 cup fresh baby spinach

  • ½ cup fresh basil 

  • 1 small avocado 

  • ⅓ cup grated parmesan 

  • ⅛ cup olive oil

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • salt & pepper

  • pasta of choice



  1. Fill your saucepan with salted water and bring to a boil. Cook pasta according to directions, strain, and return to saucepan.

  2. Add all ingredients and blend until smooth in a food processor or blender. If the sauce is too thick, continue to add more broth or oil until you reach your desired consistency.

  3. Pour sauce over pasta in the saucepan and mix. Garnish with extra olive oil and parmesan and enjoy!
