Pumpkin Alfredo Recipe

  • 1 lb pasta

  • 3 tablespoons butter

  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree

  • 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ¾ cup shredded parmesan cheese

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg


  1. Cook pasta according to directions then drain and set aside.

  2. In a Dutch oven, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant for about a minute.

  3. Add pumpkin puree and broth and stir continuously until smooth.

  4. Stir in heavy cream, parmesan cheese, salt, and nutmeg. Continue to simmer for about 2 to 4 minutes until smooth. Season with pepper and remove from heat.

  5. Add cooked pasta to the Dutch oven and mix until well combined. Serve with extra parmesan and enjoy!
