2 cups dry orzo
4 cups vegetable broth
2 pounds asparagus
9 tablespoons butter, divided
4 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup grated parmesan cheese, extra for garnish
4 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
