Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak, sliced ( London Broil, Flank Steak, Sirloin, etc.)

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided

  • 16 oz broccoli

  • 4 tablespoons water

  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds, garnish

Sauce Ingredients

  • ½ cup hot water

  • 6 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil

  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar

  • 1 ½  tablespoons cornstarch

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 teaspoons minced ginger

  • ½  teaspoon black pepper

Recipe Directions

Slice your preference of steak into thin strips.

In a mixing bowl, add all sauce ingredients and mix until well combined.

In your Larder & Vine Braiser, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add broccoli and 2 tablespoons of water, then cover and cook for about 5 minutes. Broccoli should be vibrant in color. Once cooked, set aside.

In the same Braiser, add the other 1 tablespoon of olive oil and place the steak strips in an even layer. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until cooked to your preference.

Add the sauce mixture to the Braiser over the meat. Reduce the heat to low to let the sauce thicken for about 5 minutes.

Add broccoli back to the Braiser and coat with the sauce.

Serve over your favorite rice then garnish with sesame seeds. Enjoy!
