Pumpkin Alfredo Pasta in White Pumpkin Dutch Oven

16 oz pasta


3 tablespoons butter


1 tablespoon minced garlic


1 cup pumpkin puree


1 cup vegetable broth

1 cup heavy cream


¾ cup shredded parmesan cheese


1 teaspoon salt


⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg

Recipe Directions

Cook pasta according to directionsin your Larder & Vine Dutch Oven, then drain and set aside. 

In the same Dutch Oven, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant for about a minute.

Add pumpkin puree and broth, then stir continuously until smooth. 

Stir in heavy cream, parmesan cheese, salt, and nutmeg. Continue to simmer for about 2 to 4 minutes until smooth. Season with pepper and remove from heat.

Add cooked pasta to the Dutch Oven and mix until well combined. Serve with extra parmesan and enjoy!
